Is Mahindra RSA free? What it covers and what happens when it ends

Mahindra Roadside Assistance comes bundled with your new-car warranty, and it ends when that warranty ends. If yours has lapsed, you can buy standalone cover for your Mahindra at any age — from ₹1,199 a year.

The short answer

Mahindra Roadside Assistance, in plain terms

It is free at the point of use while the warranty lasts, because the cost was built into the price of the car. It is not a standing benefit of owning a Mahindra — it is a term-limited inclusion, and the term is the warranty.

That is the part worth knowing in advance. Owners of a Scorpio-N or XUV700 who have had the car three or four years have very often lost the cover without being told, and only find out when they are stood beside the vehicle.

Mahindra roadside assistance — your questions

Is Mahindra RSA free?

Mahindra Roadside Assistance is included at no extra charge while your new-car warranty is active — you do not pay per call-out during that period. It is bundled into the price of the car rather than genuinely free.

When the warranty period ends, the bundled roadside assistance ends with it. Nothing notifies you: most owners discover it has lapsed at the moment they break down.

What happens when my Mahindra roadside assistance expires?

You have two options. Renew through a dealer, which is normally offered alongside a paid service visit, or buy a standalone membership directly for the vehicle you already own.

A standalone membership has no vehicle-age restriction, which matters because dealers generally will not sell roadside assistance for an out-of-warranty car.

Can I get roadside assistance for an out-of-warranty Mahindra?

Yes. Our plans cover any Mahindra whatever its age or mileage — Scorpio-N, XUV700, Thar, Bolero and every other model.

Cover starts the day you buy it and includes towing, battery jump start, tyre puncture repair, fuel delivery, key lockout and minor on-road repair.

How much does Mahindra roadside assistance cost to replace?

Standalone annual membership starts at ₹1,199 for Delhi NCR cover and rises with the geographic range and the number of vehicles covered. Full current prices are listed openly on our cost page.

A single uncovered tow is usually more expensive than a year of membership, which is why most people buy cover rather than pay per call-out.

How fast will someone reach me?

Our average arrival time in major metros is 30 to 45 minutes, at any hour. The helpline is staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Call 01147090909 with your location and vehicle details and a technician is dispatched to you.
