Crossroads Helpline
Clear location and vehicle details reduce delays and help dispatch the right support safely.
What to do now
- Share your exact location: GPS pin, nearest landmark, highway name, direction, and nearest exit/toll plaza.
- State the problem plainly: “won’t start,” “tyre puncture,” “warning light + loss of power,” “locked out,” etc.
- Provide vehicle basics: make/model, fuel type, and whether passengers are present.
- Describe the safety situation: shoulder width, visibility, traffic speed, rain/fog, and any hazards (smoke, leak).
What NOT to do
- Do not give vague locations (“near the flyover”) without a direction or landmark.
- Do not hide critical safety information like smoke, strong fuel smell, or being in a blind curve.
- Do not attempt to diagnose beyond what you can see safely from inside the cabin.
When to call Crossroads Helpline
Call when you need a trained response, especially if you are on a highway, at night, with vulnerable passengers, or if there’s any sign of mechanical danger (overheating, burning smell, loss of braking/steering).
